Topic: CAPE Sociology Workshop for Secondary Teachers (Q2- February 2025)
Description: The Workshops serves to improve teachers’ capacity to implement the CAPE Sociology curriculum at the Secondary Level. 1 Teacher per school.
Objectives:
1. Guide teachers in techniques that can be implemented in the teaching and learning of Sociology Theories and Concepts to make concepts relatable to students’ everyday life.
2. Discuss strategies for fostering critical thinking and encouraging students to question and analyze societal patterns
3. Build teacher capacity in developing effective formative and summative assessments to increase students’ responses in answering of higher order questions.
