Topic: Cultural Transformation Programme- Workshops for Standard One Teachers
Description: These workshops will focus on the principles of Iconic Trinidad and Tobago at the Standard One level along with other areas including Patriotism, Volunteerism, Community.
Objectives: The workshop is intended to achieve the following outcomes-
1. To understand the content, skills, and attitudes associated with the Patriotism Policy through the Iconic Trinidad and Tobago (Iconic T&T) theme, focusing on People, Places, and Practices.
2. To assess how specific Values, Attitudes, and Behaviours are integrated into elements of the Cultural Transformation (CT) Programme.
3. To discuss the implementation of Portfolio and Project-Based Learning (PBL) within the context of Cultural Transformation.
4. To explore strategies for incorporating volunteerism and community service within the Iconic T & T theme.
5. To investigate ways to connect the concept of Iconic T&T with other ideas related to Cultural Transformation.
6. To examine how the International Day of Peace can be celebrated in schools.
