Description: Phase 2 of the implementation of Spanish in the ECCE Curriculum seeks to strengthen and expand the integration of Spanish language learning by further equipping ECCE educators with the necessary knowledge, skills and resources to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Through continued professional development and implementation support, Spanish will be integrated into daily routines and play-based activities to promote early language acquisition, communication skills and cultural awareness among all children.

Objective:

1. Understanding the importance of young children’s early acquisition of language.

2. To expand cultural awareness and sensitivity.

3. Preparation of the learning environment to promote bilingualism.
