Topic: IEAT Teacher Training- Food Preservation and Crop Production Techniques (NEED and SGEED Districts)

Description: The training that will be provided is aligned to IEAT Competition: Component 3.

Objectives: The workshop is intended to achieve the following outcomes-

1. To encourage the growth of food and the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture at the primary and secondary school level.
2. To promote skill development among students in the area of agriculture.
3. To promote World Food Day, which is observed annually on October 16th.

Target Audience: Agriculture and Food and Nutrition teachers at the secondary school level.

Mode of Delivery: In-person- Nutrien Model Farm in Couva

Specific Instructions: Secondary schools to send two Agricultural Science teachers and one Food and Nutrition teacher.
