Description: This workshop is designed for ECCE teachers and parents to effectively support young children as they transition from home to ECCE Centre. The move from a familiar home environment to a new learning space can be a significant and sometimes challenging experience for both children and their families. This workshop will delve into the emotional, social, and developmental aspects of this transition, offering practical strategies to ensure a smooth and positive experience. Participants will learn how to create a welcoming and inclusive ECCE environment, foster effective communication with families, and develop activities that ease the transition for children. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will gain valuable insights into how to support children’s emotional and social readiness, build strong partnerships with families, and create a consistent and nurturing experience that bridges home and ECCE settings.
