Topic: Teacher Induction- Integrating Literacy Across the Curriculum
Description: Apply strategies to embed literacy in all subject areas.
Objectives:
1)To enable new teachers to recognise and articulate the unique literacy demands, vocabulary, and text types specific to their subject area, beyond traditional English instruction.
2)To empower new teachers to intentionally incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities into their lesson plans to deepen student understanding and engagement.
3) To ensure new teachers use and model consistent literacy terminology and strategies across the curriculum.
Target Audience: ECCE, Primary & Secondary School Teachers
