Description: The SEA ORS Training provides participants with practical guidance on student registration, the selection and verification of secondary school choices, and the management of candidate information in the Online Registration System (ORS). It also explains the SEA placement process, including how students’ performance, school choices and available school places are used to determine secondary school placement.
Objective: At the end of the training, participants should be able to:
- Navigate the SEA Online Registration System,
- Accurately register and update candidate information for the SEA,
- Guide the selection, entry and verification of secondary school choices in accordance with established procedures,
- Verify candidate information and school choices to minimise errors,
- Explain the SEA secondary school placement process, including the role of SEA performance, school choices and available school places,
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of schools and Ministry personnel in the registration, verification and placement processes,
- Apply established procedures for addressing registration, school-choice and placement-related issues.
Target Audience: Primary Principals and 1 Primary Teacher per School (North Eastern Education District)
